Every year, health experts warn people to get the flu shots while the majority of people don’t take it seriously. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , only 37% of U.S adults were estimated to have been vaccinated last flu season, a fall of 6% from the year before. Meanwhile, the CDC estimates the flu killed more than 80,000 people and caused more than 900,000 hospitalizations last year.
